France,
Rhone Valley,
Rosé, quite youthful, still with some CO2 present, medium-deep, slightly deeper than the classic Provence colour, more towards partridge eye. Generous nose as well, ripe fruits, feels quite sunny with a lot of freshly crushed berries, red fruits, plum, some floral notes. Palate is quite full-bodied for a rosé, a bit more weight on the palate, with some fine tannins, indicating very red grapes there. It’s a fairly dry wine but it gives an indication of sweetness there due to ripe grapes; I get some crushed plum, red berry fruit, some lemon zest on the finish. Fairly long finish. Fruity and generous style, for early drinking.
