Dark garnet colour. Pure nose some approaching maturity with fine leather, tobacco, pepper and dry spices with dark fruit notes. The palate is dense and voluminous, still a youthful texture, slight tannic bite, with peppery dark fruit, garrigue and lavender, good length, still potent for further ageing.
