Deep ruby red colour with some age on the rim. Sweet and dried fruit aromas blend with tobacco, garrigue and some oak. Dense palate, rather high extraction, rigid tannin, sweet and dried fruit flavours like prunes and figs with some herbal spiciness and a long finish. An ambitious effort yet a bit on the tannic and extracted side.
