Light rim but a deep garnet/purple hue. Aromas of leather, pepper, ripe dark fruit, Kirsch and garrigue. Dense palate but with ripe tannin, digest dark fruit, nice pepper and clove spiciness, dark cherry and cassis with a long and meaty finish. A well-maintained freshness throughout, will gain complexity from another few years in the cellar but nicely done.
