Dark colour with a purple hue. Pure and modern nose showing crushed red berries, plum, some butterscotch and new oak. Dense and concentrated palate, ripe fruit flavours with a hint of oak, leather and some meaty notes, rounded acidity with a firm tannic grip, crushed pepper flavours and good length. Still a bit on the extracted side with room for improvement.
