Dense dark core, still a purple hue. Pure and layered nose with a fine combination of new oak, roasted notes, violet ripe dark berries, tobacco, some wild herbs and peppery notes. The palate is dense and weighty but with fine extract and ripe tannin giving lift and bite, peppery and meaty notes with clove, ginger and wild berry flavours, and a long vigorous finish with an approaching complexity. Very digest.
