Greece,
Crete,
Medium towards deep colour, ruby-red still appearing fairly youthful with a purple hue. The nose is ripe displaying sweet dark fruit, like plum, sweet red berries. A gentle hint of oak, some leather. Quite full-bodied on the palate, with attractive dark fruit. Hints of cassis and plum. There is well-preserved freshness. Tannins are young but balanced, I would say. Certainly a style that should round off the edges in the coming two to three years. There is still a good presence of oak, some flavours of vanilla and wood that should easily vanish also within the coming few years. Otherwise a nice example with attractive dark fruit. Juicy and fresh. Quite long finish and it should develop quite well.
