Dense core with a ruby rim. Generous nose, some evolution, black truffle, ripe dark fruit, cassis, leather, tobacco and some meaty notes. Very good grip on the palate, dense and structured with a firm but ripe tannic grip, layered dark fruit with meaty and peppery notes, a fresh backbone and a long lingering finish.
