Dense dark core starting to lose colour on the rim. Good intensity, starting to mature on the nose, dried meat, pepper, kirsch, dark plum and some smoky notes. Good grip on the palate, dense and vigorous, still a youthful texture but with ripe tannin, crushed dark berry flavours, a fresh acidity and fine length.
