Rather deep and youthful colour. Layered nose of bay leaf, tobacco, kirsch, ripe red fruit, pepper and garrigue. Ripe, unctuous and warming palate with good layers, mild and rounded tannin, red and darker berry flavours with a fine spiciness. Long, grippy and muscular finish. A ripe and unctuous wine, yet finely balanced.
