Dense dark colour having lost its blue /purple touch/ pure and intense nose displaying ripe red fruit, cassis, mint and sage with very mild if any oak ; the palate has good volume and weight, still a youthful texture but ripe tannin and no hard edges ; should soften from further ageing ; a refreshing herbaceous spiciness and plenty of vivid fruit leading to a long finish
