Inky purple with a dark and bright core. Pure nose with a hint of oak, ripe dark fruit, garrigue, pepper, violet, and tobacco. The palate is dense with a modest extraction and ripe tannin, still youthful but balanced with a balancing acidity, spicy dark fruit and a long, warm finish.
