Medium deep ruby red colour with a slight purple hue. The nose is youthful offering a hint of oak, leather, dry spices and wild berries. The palate is rather dense still with a youthful tannic bite, layers of red currant, cranberry, a touch of oak and mild spices. It has a good length and persistency but remains a bit tannic and unresolved should be drunk after 2021.
