Domaine Thunevin Calvet – Hugo – 2009

Very intense opaque colour. Intense and ripe nose of chocolate, new oak, dark berries, plum and jammed berries. The palate is intense and concentrated, very full and lingering with layers of chocolate- coated dark fruit, very long and persistent. Still youthful and knit but very promising, good quality tannin, not too extracted, well made and balanced in a rich, powerful style.
