Domaine Thunevin Calvet – Les Trois Marie – 2009

Dark purple colour, the nose is intense and sweet with some new oak, rather port-like with ripe figs, dates and prunes. The palate is intense and muscular with firm tannin, sweet dark fruit, spices and a long lingering finish, well balanced in a ripe, powerful style.
