France,
Burgundy,
Youthful pale colour, pale straw yellow with a hint of green. Pure nose, very pure and delicate, still discreet, not giving off a lot of fruit, it’s rather on that stony mineral side; some notes of almond, ripe lemon. Very nice purity. Excellent bite on the palate, really good grip and extract, really fills your mouth and it distributes a bit more of that youthful fruit, white stone fruit, citrus, almondy notes. Very nice ripe acidity gives a really firm backbone, and keeps lingering on the palate. Very persistent. Excellent grip, good purity, good finesse. Still very youthful; it’s a wine that will gain a lot more expression and depth with aging, but with this density and length and concentration, it’s doubtlessly a very fine wine, in a pure precise style, with a great potential for development.
