France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Red wine with a young medium intense colour, still very youthful with a blue-purple rim. Pure nose, medium intense, feels quite ripe with slightly cooked fruit, like stewed plums, red plums, some nutty notes, some sweet spicy notes like clove, and a hint of vanilla. Palate is on the lighter side, rather less than medium body with a rather soft extraction, nice juicy fruit, plummy notes, and red berries. Quite accessible already now, there’s nothing angular or tannic on the palate. Balanced acidity, no hints of oak. Quite nice spice notes on the finish, red fruity with mild spices, and a medium-long fruity finish.
