France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
White wine, with a rather youthful pale yellow and a touch of green. Medium-intense nose, still rather youthful. There’s clearly some oak here, a hint of wood and vanilla. Fruit is ripe but not really super-ripe; we have more of the lemon, green apple, some fresh almond and some notes of fresh butter. Bone-dry palate with a good bite, quite salivating; fresh acidity, medium towards high. Rather restrained in a positive style, you get that fresh green apple, those lemony flavours. Juicy on the palate. Still a bit youthful, the oak is still present on the palate, I would prefer to wait a little bit for that to integrate. Attractive finish, quite medium towards long, with an emphasis on freshness, and rather elegant youthful fruit.
