Medium deep ruby core with a mature rim. Meaty and spicy nose offering, pepper, clove, leather, tobacco and ripe red fruit. Rather full palate still with a firm tannic presence, yet nice fruit and spiciness with good length, a wine still needing some time to further soften or a thorough decanting before serving.
