Dense ruby red colour. Ripe nose displaying dark fruit, Kirsch, cassis, leather and tobacco notes with a hint of oak and discreet spiciness. Dense structure, still youthful with high tannin, but no hard edges, concentrated dark fruit with liquorice, coffee, tobacco and spicy wood. Long and grippy finish with peppery and meaty notes. A fine potential needing longer time in the cellar but should develop finely.
