France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Quite deep ruby red core. Still very young on the nose, with a herbal spiciness, garrigue; sweet red fruit like plum, red cherry. No evident oak. Palate is still quite young, it has a medium weight with high extract, still youthful tannin. We have a certain herbal spiciness here; bouquet garni, garrigue, and sour red cherry. A quite high acidity. No evident oak really. Good freshness on the finish, with medium length; medium towards long I would say, it keeps lingering for a while. Well-made, in a clean and fresh style. A wine to which I’d certainly like to give more aging for it to round off that slight tannic sensation.
