Germany,
Rheingau,
Clear, very bright medium intense straw colour. Pure nose. Discreet at first, with quite stony mineral notes. In combination with light stone fruit, like white peach, pear, some lemon and lime zest as well. Really fine purity. The palate is balanced I should say by a certain sweetness. More of a Kabinett - Spatlese level, that gives that fruity sweetness. At the same time, it does have a beautiful acidity. It really gives you that mouth-watering sensation. Quite light in terms of body and structure. It certainly does have length, it keeps lingering. I very much like this purity of fruit. Very zesty finish with lemon and lime zest and attractive white stone fruit. A fine wine to drink already today, but it should certainly develop over the course of 5, 10, plus years.
