Dark garnet core with a mature ruby rim and high viscosity. Mature and intense nose displaying some balsamic notes, plum, blackberry, crème de cassis, dry spices, tobacco and some vanilla/oak. The palate is dense and muscular, having reached a good level of maturity, still with a backbone of dark-fruity power and plenty of fine grained tannin, some mature and complex balsamic and truffle notes leading on to a long and vigorous finish.
