Dark purple core. Ripe dark fruit, plum and cherry with liquorice and clove notes. The palate is ample and concentrated, finely rounded with ripe tannin, layers of dark fruit, chocolate and dry spices, fairly discreet oak and a fresh backbone. Long and chewy finish with spicy and meaty notes, already attractive but potent for further ageing.
