Intense dark purple colour. Ripe and still youthful nose that offers dark fruit like cassis, dark plum and an herbal spiciness. The palate is dense, youthful and tight, layers of dark fruit, crushed black currant and sage flavours, a firm tannic grip with a long dense finish. Still a bit on the youthful restrained side, will open in the coming years.
