France,
Alsace,
Light golden colour here, still with a slight green hue, good brightness. Quite intense aromas here. Rather layered here, mixing ripe stone fruit, with some floral notes; white flower, peach, apricot, ripe lemon, with a certain stoniness, some chalky notes. Good mouthfeel here, quite broad and lushes, riper style, yet quite dry. A few grams of sugar, but that is something I think that is this style of Riesling you do not really perceive it as sweet, just contributes to that lushes, ripe fruitiness. Well balanced acidity. Nice mouthwatering, particularly on the finish which is long lasting, with elegant yellow fruit. Well balanced, there is a certain evolution here. Very good drinkability now, I would say, but with the potential to go on for many years, which is the great virtue of Riesling, which I presume it is.
