Dornier Wines – Donatus – 2011

Stellenbosch
MEDAILLE-TASTED-90-2024
South Africa,
Coastal Region,
Generous fruitiness on the nose; quite ripe with notes of stone fruit - apricot, peach and yellow plum as well as slight hints of roasted nuts; seems like a hint of oak, but well integrated; the palate is on the broad and unctuous side, pleasing mouthfeel, plenty of fruit and an unctuous texture, well balanced with an underlying minerality, long finish and a hint of complexity - very good.
