Hungary,
Szekszard,
Red wine with a very dense core here, black purple, far from mature, very young, very intense. Also the nose is displaying a high level of ripeness here, we have really almost like kirsch and cassis, almost liquor-like aromatically; with a hint of wood, some roasted notes, quite modern style. The palate is dense, and it still has a high presence of extract, tannin, high acidity. The fruit is a bit more backwards and restrained today. It’s medium towards full, I would say, in terms of weight. Attractive and juicy fruit, but it still feels a bit restrained here. On the finish, which is rather on the long side, there’s a lot of spiciness going on, but still a slight presence of wood and tannin, so definitely a wine I would like to put back for another one to 2 years before opening it.
