Hungary,
Szekszard,
Red wine with a slight development here in terms of colour, it’s still rather dense ruby at the core, but more rusty towards the rim. Some nice complexity on the nose here, we have a lot of spicy peppery things, some meaty notes, a hint of smoke, pepper, and quite sweet fruit here like plum, blackberry, apricot. I really like this one; it’s very much what I call Syrah-like, with some gingerbread, pepper, sweet opulent fruit; rounded texture, we have a good density of fruit here. The tannins are all settled. Very good length with a pepper finish, well-integrated oak, still noticeable with some roasted notes, and that slightly gamey meaty spiciness on the finish. Very attractive and drinkable today. I really like this. Can I have a hamburger please?
