Dense core and ruby rim. Perfumed with floral notes, violet, wild berries, plum, tapenade with meaty and peppery hints underlined by fine oak. The palate is very dense and muscular but not overly broad, nice flavour intensity and tremendous length. Finely distributed tannins, layers of blackberry, cassis, fresh meat, pepper and clove. Nuanced and complex finish with a great persistency. Needs time to open but will be great indeed.
