Bright dark purple core. Nice floral perfume of jasmin, lavender, some new oak and ripe dark fruit like blackberry, cassis and some meaty notes. Very nice palate, just above medium bodied but dense and muscular with grainy tannin, a bright freshness, layers of crushed blackberry, crème de cassis, and fine spices. Still youthful but balanced with integrated oak and a very long, pure and fresh finish.
