Medium deep ruby red colour. The nose is young and restrained with some earthy and smoky notes paired with rapsberry, cherry and plum with a mild spiciness. Rather full palate, still on the tannic side with plenty of extract, yet nice layers of savoury red fruit, finely spicy and a long dense finish. A classic style needing rather long ageing to open.
