Eisele Vineyard – Cabernet Sauvignon – 2021

Massive dark purple core and hue. Inky and dark fruit dominate - crème de cassis, black cherry, liquorice, aniseed, sage, mint, tobacco, and a clear "stony/volcanic" presence with very mild oak underneath. Mouth-filling and grainy with refined tannins a vivid freshness, layers of ripe, yet al-dente dark fruit spiced with anise-like notes, aromatic herbal bay leaf and sage with a very long and lingering, savoury finish.
