Dense dark core and a lighter/mature rim. Pure nose, floral with violet and ripe dark fruit. The palate is dense with a youthful tannic grip but no harshness, bright dark fruit and a fresh backbone, pure cassis flavours with some aromatic herbs, and good grip and length. Nice potential for further cellaring.
