Dense dark core and a lighter rim. Pure nose starting to mature, it blends red and dark berries, dried herbs, aniseed and a hint of oak. Rather full palate, fresh acidity with a youthful texture, still a tannic presence, red plum and dill flavours with a rather long finish. Classic style built for long ageing.
