Argentina,
Cafayate Valley,
Medium to deep ruby-red colour. Still youthful with a hint of purple. Quite a discreet nose at first, displaying some hints of mainly red fruit, red berries with some red currant. Slight hint of dried herbs, spices and plum. With a little hint of oak. The palate has medium weight. Quite discreet style here, I would say with a high acidity, pronounced tannin. Nothing harsh or hard in there. Rather a quite digest style with subtle red fruit, those red currant notes, with some plum, peppery and herbal notes. Wrapped in this medium weight, medium to long finish style. A bit youthful, but doubtlessly an attractive wine that should gain some more complexity from further ageing.
