Spain,
Cuenca,
Red wine with a slightly developed colour here, ruby with slightly tawny towards the rim. The nose is mature, showing quiet a lot of maturity here. Some dried fruit notes; like prune, that dried spices like anise seed, caraway and dried fruit. The palate has a medium weight, slightly more than mid-weight. Tannins have rounded off. It starts out with those spicy notes particularly of liquorice and anise seed, then we have those dried fruity flavours predominately like prune and fig. It is a medium towards long finish with spicy flavours. This certainly has a lot of evolution, it is a wine ready to drink now, shouldn't be kept more.
