Emiliana – Novas Gran Reserva Garnacha Syrah – 2013
Cachapoal Valley

Play Video
Chile,
Cachapoal Valley,
Medium deep colour, ruby-red. Quite open on the nose, with a rather sweet fruity character, some stewed plum here, some red berry jam, liquorice, some pepperiness and no hint of oak. Nice and subtle vinification here. As the palate has medium weight. Quite good flavour intensity there. With sweet fruit. With quite rounded tannin. Juicy ripe fruit, again those plum and red berry notes, mild spiciness. Quite a long finish. It is doubtlessly a ripe wine you feel a high level of ripeness, presence of alcohol, but on the finish you get more spicy and peppery notes. So quite attractive, juicy and round. With a good drinkability already today.
