Colchagua Valley

Chile,
Colchagua Valley,
Medium high intensity there, with a ruby-purple core. The nose starts out quite spicy there, with some hints of leather, black pepper, ginger, sweet spices like ginger, clove. The fruitiness is rather on the red fruity side; with hints of some plum, some blackberry and tobacco leaf. Nice palate here. Medium weight with a soft and subtle texture. It has a nice spiciness. Really juicy and digest fruit, like crushed plum, blackberry with those peppery notes. Fresh acidity and I think a quite balanced alcohol. There is not really any oak noticeable. There is a slight hint of smokiness on the finish. Really attractive juicy wine, with good drinkability right now. I think it will certainly develop, but I would happily drink it today.
