Encosta da Vila – Porão Velho – 2014

Dark purple colour. Roasted aromas, new oak, notes of prune and dried fruit. Rather full palate with firm tannin, a bit austere texture with sweet dark fruit and some oaky/vanilla flavours, some alcoholic warmth on the finish. Ambitious but a bit youthful and unfinished today.
