Eric Isselee – Cuvée Clément en Fut – 2009

Medium deep golden colour with a youthful creaminess. The nose offers sweet aromas of vanilla, yellow fruit, butter and almond paste, there seems to be a slight hit of oak. The palate is quite full bodied, the oak is certainly there but well integrated, creamy notes of butter, vanilla, roasted nuts and ripe yellow stone fruit, fine creaminess, a fresh backbone and a long finish. A vinous style with good drinkability and approaching complexity.
