Inky dark purple colour. Ripe dark fruit, plum, cassis, new oak, sweet spices and pepper. The palate is dense and concentrated with ripe dark fruit, still on the tannic side with a bold spiciness, liquorice, cassis and black plum flavours with some toast and a long muscular finish. An ambitious and modern example still needing time to open.
