Very dark and dense colour; the nose is intense displaying dark fruit, plum, blackcurrant, chocolate and smoke; the palate is highly concentrated with layers of dark fruit and generous amounts of oak, although not too much, plenty of tannin, dark chocolate, spicy aftertaste and a good length, quite Barossa like, attractive and full of character
