Italy,
Trentino,
Youthful appearance here, with a quite bright medium deep straw colour. Pure nose. With a good intensity. There is no oakiness here. If there is, it is very discreet. This is doubtlessly a Sauvignon, displaying those herbal notes, with dried herbs, like freshly cut grass, some aromatic herbs. But this is more I would say fruitiness. More on the yellow fruity side than the green fruity side. There is some fresh pineapple here, ripe lemon and lime. A slight mineral touch as well. Good grip on the palate. Bone-dry, with fine extract. Fresh and really crisp acidity. Youthful, with very pleasant bitter notes, like lemon and lime zest. On top of that, quite layered, with some of that richer, more tropical fruit actually on the finish. Fine persistence here. Good length. I still don’t think this has any oak ageing. Even though the style of Sauvignon is slightly rounder and broader yet with that distinct freshness, so I kind of like it.
