Estelle & Rodolphe Cognard – Cuvée Caudalies – 2017

Medium to deep garnet colour. Fine purity and intensity with violet, ripe dark berries, cassis, bouquet garni and mild oak underneath. Very good grip and texture, ripe and savoury dark fruit with fine pepper and herbal spiciness, well integrated oak and ripe tannin leaving plenty of succulent fruit on the long aftertaste.
