France,
Champagne,
Bright colour, light straw with a green tinge and moderately large bubbles. Pure nose. Good purity here with some floral notes, some white flower, chamomile, yellow apple and pear, with some fresh hazelnuts as well. So a certain hint of complexity and age, but no oxidation, no wood. I like the creaminess on the palate. I think bubbles are well integrated. Again it is not very youthful, it has a certain evolution there. Still made in a slimmer style. More chardonnay dominated in my mind with ripe citrus, juicy pear, some nuttiness. Some vinous hints on the finish, with a slight hint of fresh butter and a quite long persistence.
