Famiglia Castellani – Campomaggio Riserva – 2013

Dark ruby red core and a lighter tawny rim. Dry spices, pepper and almond on the nose blending red and dark fruit. Rather full palate, still on the younger side with a tannic bite, plenty of balsamic and herbal notes, a fresh acidity, red currant and cherry notes with dry spices and a medium to long finish. Traditional style needing some more time to soften.
