Impenetrable black purple colour. Intense and invigorating nose; rather vintage Port-like with ripe but fresh dark cherry, plum, cassis and blackberry notes. Dense and powerful palate with layers of juicy dark fruit, kirsch and cassis, ripe and grainy tannin, and a long, warm and embracing finish. Really good.
