Bright dark purple core and hue. Youthful and pure with inky dark fruit notes - cassis, plum, licorice, sage, tobacco and mild oak underneath. The palate boasts a fine concentration and richness, grainy tannin and a well maintained acidity, layers of crushed dark berry fruit with pepper, clove, mild oak notes and a long vigorous finish.
