Ferrer Bobet – Selecció Especial Vinyes Velles – 2013

Intense dark inky colour with a bright purple hue. Floral and fragrant nose with notes of violet, ripe dark fruit like blackberry and cassis with sage, mint and tobacco notes, no noticeable oak. The palate has a fine concentration with nice purity and vibrant freshness, inky dark fruit, black currant and cherry flavours with grainy tannin, fine extract, rather Burgundian texture, yet with weight and power, and a very long pure finish. Youthful but very nice drinkability and freshness.
